We appreciate your interest in nominating a candidate for membership in the ELC! As you submit your nomination, please keep these key points in mind.
Selection Process and Timeline Overview
The nomination period begins on March 10, 2025. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
This is the only method to submit nominations for the ELC class of 2026.
As nominations are received, the ELC staff will review and confirm their eligibility.
On Monday, April 30, 2025, eligible candidates will be invited to submit an application. The deadline to submit an application for the Class of 2026 is Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Along with the required application, candidates must also submit two (2) letters of recommendation from ELC members in good standing, an executive bio, a resume, and a headshot photo.
The membership committee will review all completed application packages before conducting interviews. Once interviews have concluded, the committee will finalize a slate of recommended candidates to present to the ELC Executive Committee and board for final approval.
Stages of the Selection Process:1. Nomination Received
○ An existing member nominates a candidate for membership.
2. Nomination Under Review
○ The membership committee reviews nominations based on predefined criteria.
○ Elligible candidates proceed to the next stage.
3. Invited to Apply for Membership
○ Elligible candidates receive an invitation to formally apply.
4. Application Under Review
○ The membership committee evaluates submitted applications.
5. Invited for Interview
○ Selected applicants are invited for an interview.
○ Interviews can be virtual or in person, with scheduling based on availability and time zones.
6. Membership Acceptance
○ Successful applicants receive a membership offer.

Membership Eligibility
To be eligible for membership consideration, candidates must qualify as one of the following:
- Senior-level executive, defined as CEO, C-suite executives and those reporting to C-suite executives (i.e., within two positions of the enterprise-wide CEO) at a Fortune 1000/Global 500 corporation
- Corporate Board Directors serving on the Board of a Fortune 1000/Global 500 corporation
- Senior-level executive at a large Professional Services Firm
Recommendation & Candidate Process
To be extended a membership application, the candidate must:
- Receive a nomination for membership consideration from an ELC member in good standing.
- Meet one of the preliminary membership criteria.
- Receive secondary recommendation from an ELC member in good standing.
- Receive Membership Committee approval.
Membership Application and Requirements
If one of the above membership eligibility criteria is met and an application extended, the candidate must:
- Submit the completed application including two (2) letters of recommendation from ELC members in good standing.
- Interview with a Membership Committee member.
If accepted for ELC membership, the new member must:
- Satisfy the New Member dues requirement.
- Attend orientation and induction sessions.
Individuals seeking to join The ELC as New Members are admitted into the organization at the C-suite level. In addition to the C-suite level ($7,000 annual dues), the new member process includes an additional $1,000 administrative fee. The total amount for year 1 of ELC Membership for all new members is $8,000. Each consecutive year thereafter, members will reclassify into their respective membership categories.
Process

1. Register
Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form.
2. Login
Login to the award with your email and password.
3. Create
Create your online application. Please review the FAQs for additional information.
4. Save
During the Call for Applications period, your application can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the category tab when the application is saved. At any time, you can download and print your application by clicking on the
icon in the Application Summary section.
5. Submit
On completion, save your Nomination as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your application for your records by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Applications period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
